Yellowstone
November 3rd, 2009At the beginning of August we got the chance to take a trip to Island Park, ID (just outside of Yellowstone) where we had a family reunion with my parents and siblings and all of our kids. We were able to find a huge log cabin to rent for the week that actually accommodated all of us (13 Adults and 17 children)! We had so much fun exploring the park and mostly just hanging out, relaxing and letting the kids play with their cousins.

So, so fun to see your darling fam!! I think Mom and Dad were good sports too since they were the ones doing the “packing”. Yay family vacations!! (especially fam vacation memories…sometimes when you are making them…you wonder “why?” but maybe that’s just me.)

Looks like a fun trip! I haven’t been to Yellowstone since I was a kid. I’m glad you guys got to spend so much fun with your family. It’s crazy to see how much Will has grown in such a short time. These babies need to slow it down!

looks like a good time! i’m not brave enough to travel with my two boys just yet. you’re pretty brave to pack around all those kids! by the way, you look identical to the sister on the right!

I have many fond memories of living in Island Park during the summer of ‘98 when I played Annie in Annie Get Your Gun at the Mack’s Inn Dinner Theatre. I’m so glad you and your family were able to have such a fun time up there. It’s really beautiful there! I love the picture of tired Ellis and Daddy.;)
