Adams Family Zoo.com is the site of Erik & Heather Adams and family—created to record a few bits and pieces of our life in Concord, California. Welcome! The Adams Family, December 2008
Love kids. Love swimming. Love kids learning to conquer hard things like swimming. This was priceless! We miss swim meets. Thanks for sharing, Heather. Go Rulon…you r o c k!!
I loved this!!!! I found myself holding my breath and trying to breath for him. I was pretty tired myself at the end of the race, for a few seconds there I wasn’t sure he was going to make it to the end. What a big smile at the end - we are so proud of him. I was remembering Erik at age 5 and I believe he was still screaming if the water touched his face. give him a big hug from Kikki and Bunda!
Oh boy does that bring it back. Like Nadine, I was a breathless as Rulon by the time he finished. I was fairly sure he wasn’t going to drown since you had published the video it must have a happy ending but whew! I think he covered as much area with those flailing arms as he would have done in several laps. Way to go Ru!
I’m sooo sad we missed this!! I rewatched the movie four times laughing each time while in Casper. Dallas and I are so proud of him and would LOVE to come to the next one to watch lil Rulon and the swim master himself, Lincoln Love you guys!
Thanks for the well-thought article. I am actually at work right now! So I need to go off without reading all I’d like. However, I put your blog on my google feed so that I can read more.
